This shot was taken at the blade show last month. This is a one of a kind Loveless knife, fully engraved by H.H. Frank. Frank only makes 4 knives per year and they are over $22,000. This knife was done in 1974 when Loveless was selling Frank knives through his Loveless Catalog. There is also a photo of this blade in the 1975 Edition of the Catalog. It was bought by Rock Legend David Crosby, of Crosby, Stills and Nash, back in the early 70's. This is the first time it has seen daylight in about 42 years.

Notice instead of the Loveless logo, H.H. Frank engraved the name on the blade.

Now THAT is as cool a Loveless as is the story behind it, John. Thanks for showing it.

Thank you Bob, I did not even know that knife really existed until about 2 months ago.
I had seen the blade in the catalog, but just assumed it was a black and white drawing of what Frank could do. Had no ideal it was on a real blade.

Bob, Do you know how to post photos so they show up large. Like the ones you have posted, and almost everyone here. I seem to only get the crappy little attachment. Looked all over the place but can't figure it out.
Best,
John

Finally found out how to post something bigger than a 2 inch photo.
Took about 8 hours..........
