I have been a fan and admirer of his work, and recently was fortunate to be able to trade for one!! I just acquired an Instigator!! This baby is smooooooooth and built like a tank!! I LOVE this knife!! The clip sits low in the pocket, which is another added bonus!! This is an amazing knife!! Anyone else here a fan?
Here is a link to his site:
http://www.dmknives.com/

If you scroll down to the block of pictures, the Instigator is the first one!

If you haven't had a chance to experience his knives, I highly encourage you to check him out!!

No one has one of these amazing knives??? David's work is amazing to me!! This is a tank of a knife and at the same time, a work of art. That is why I like knives soooo much; it is useable art!! Please DO yourself a favor and check him out!!

This is a full boat custom.

5 15/16" 440C, BB flats, belt satin hollows, not originally produced that way but some numbskull (me) used a Scotchbrite belt on the spine, and it scratched the flats, so David took pity on my sorry ass, and fixed it for me.

416 stainless bolsters, satin finish, fore and aft. Perfect white MOP scales, with mosaic pins.

Sheath by Chris Kravitt of Treestump Leather.

You didn't ask in your post if other people had his knives, so I didn't bother responding. I have another one too, but no pic.

Thanks a very nice looking rig! In all seriousness, a nice dressy fighter to wear on the way out to the mailbox in the morning, at least in the neighborhood I used to live in in L.A....

Might as well do it in style!

If I had to battle my way out to the mailbox, I would wear a wakizashi, which I am trained to use, and cause a fair amount of damage with, without having to get too close. These days you DO NOT want to get an opponents blood on you. ;)

I have a couple myself. He really does have some of the cleanest grinds I've ever seen.

A Shidobu Warrior in O1 with a sharpened back edge, and most recently a Kozuka1 in ATS-34---looks just like the S30V one on his page. I'm considering another of the same in like 1095 or possibly O1 again--his tantos look like a tanto should look.

WOW!! Those are awesome!!! And I TOTALLY agree that his tanto is how a tanto SHOULD look!!! Very sweet knives you have there!! Thanks for the replies folks!!

Quoting a very exited Brit in another forum; SWEET BABY JESUS IN A HELICOPTER!!! That knife is just about the living embodiment of a fighter design that's been in my noggin for quite sometime! Beauty and function in one package!

ROFLAO!!! I agree with that statement!! That is the most unique response I believe I have EVER heard!!
