Hey guys. I just wanted to show off some of David Lisch's awesome feather damascus!! We are still having a great time with our collaborations and Dave keeps getting better.

I really pleased how well this knife turned out. The handle is stabilized Curly Koa and the endcap is fossilized Walrus Ivory. Spacers are copper and G-10.

I'll see if I can get some better pics...

(I love the cracks in this piece, so that's why they are there. It's all sealed up so don't worry about it falling apart.)

And a pretty good pic of the handle. It looks much better in person, if I do say so myself.

The box is Pear wood with Buginga lid.

Thanks again, guys.

Now that is one beautiful chef's knife!Dave's feather patteren is some of the best available, and I am the proud owner of a knife with it as the blade steel!Great work guys!!

Very beautiful. This feather damascus and the dragonskin/ball bearing damascus are at the top of the heap in terms of aesthetics IMO.

Thanks guys.

Coop, please don't yell at me for my awful photos (still don't know how to use my new camera.) I'm going to have to review your photography threads :-)

Hey Michael: I'm impressed with the clarity of your photos. No apologies about that. We can see the knife nice and clear....

..as well as that plaid quilt! Yikes. You have NO mercy on that knife. ;)

David and Michael: It's wonderful. I'll bet that handle melts in your hand.

Man, that whole package is just gorgeous...no doubt the new owner is going to be floored when he gets that bad boy in hand!

David and Michael- that's a great knife and the feather blade is exceptional. Most folks don't realize how difficult it is to not only make a feather pattern but to get a large blade just adds to the challenge (and it's alway a challenge :D). Really magnificent piece!:thumbup::thumbup:

Making a large integral can't make it any easier either!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!
