And David with his wife, Leesa. It looks like to me David is thinking of BIG Bucks as in monster Mulies! :)

Dave: Nice job of displaying your early day Buck models at what appears to be a pretty good size knife show in the great American Southwest. Thanks for representing the BCCI Club in a distinguished way. I salute your efforts.

Ok David,
I am guilted-out, next year give me as much warning as possible and I will see if my truck will let me drive to NM without loading hunting equipment and load just knife displays.....the SW Branch of BCCI must make a bold statement following the big August meeitng at SMKWs.......I bet we could even talk our way into borrowing a banner to put up.

Ok, 300 I'll give you a heads up next show. If we make it to the Smokey Mountain Knife Works meeting I'll bring the banner. How did you know about that anyway??
Thanks guys for your kind remarks. I think there were over 200 tables at this show.
300 you wrote a nice article on displaying in the last issue. So, I thought I'd follow suit.
I just mailed my article off to John and he'll try to get it in the next issue with those two photos. Thanks 300 for pushing us. DM

Well, If they bring the Dallas Show back we could make a big splash but not going to hold my breath....300

Dallas is a do-able show for me. I'm also setting my sights on the El Paso, TX. show.
Phoenix, AZ. is the same for me as Albuquerque, NM.. Who's near? DM

howdy guys

Congratulations DM, looks to be a nice collection you have displayed there. I'm still trying to get myself togther to do a show. I admire you guys that "get it together" and go to shows. I'm still hoping to make "anywhere"

Shucks! :( I didnt know about the show in Las Cruces. I moved from Indiana last June down to Albuquerque, NM. Absolutely LOVE this place. :D Its Harley Heaven!:)

Nice collection David! Thanks for sharing the pic Flatlander! David, That Hatchet in the middle case in the photo looks to be about 1/16" out of square with the other knives. You better send it to me for an inspection! :)

Scott, You'll do it someday. Just remember theres alot in that boat w/ you. Yes, JB. There were a lot of guns and a lot of knives. The knives just don't have long barrels sticking up. HA! Thanks ITE and Seaplane. On the model 106 Hachet, thats the second one I've had my hands on. The other one (a 2 liner) I let a Buck brother talk me out of it.
So, sorry Charlie. They're hard to come by and that ones NIB. Shows are a ton-of-fun, I recommend it to anyone. My hard earned vacation was well spent. My wife likes them as much as me. Also, on a side note. ( you know many other things happen at shows)There was a vender there cooking B-B-Q beef brisket sandwiches w/ japalones. Boy, they were good. So, when I'd sense the clouds arrival, I'd make a hasty exit to the guy's table displaying Case knives and watch people speed up as they neared the fog. DM 8-)
