This is not an "in" thread. It's a power to the people to choose thread. Construction style only, material and color poll for that later. Steel selections have been voted on, though there is still about an hour left to poll closure on that one. This one closes in a week and a half. Be sure of your vote, no changesies this time.

It's funny, I was thinking that I've liked everything you have done so, for me, choosing a specific option was not critical.
 
Thank you. I've had a few people give me total creative license on their builds, which is why I put that option in there. Also, because selachimorpha are awesome.
 
As I was typing up the options, I was debating between that for the throwaway vote, or boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and booboos and bats
 
Algae gets my vote. But only because I don't know what all these terms mean... What's the difference in a liner and a spacer? Back to knife school for me.

I was gonna vote for algae etc. but that would be hard to hold, so I went for scales only bc a DM knife is for using - my golok is murder on blackberries! - not for a display case.
 
fishface5 fishface5 didn't you make the handle on that one yourself? Nearly four years later and I don't think I ever actually got to see the result. 😭
 
I voted for plain scales, cause I'd hate to be askin' for a fistful of fancy on a knife given away. I tried to change to the algae and whatever, but it wouldn't let me. I'd prefer to keep it open to great artists doing great artisty things after thinking more than a second or two...
 
If the scales are wood, I prefer them without liners (I realize this is not as durable), and if the scales are micarta or g10 then liners are acceptable.

I voted for algae.
