Does anyone here have a David Taylor (son of Gray Taylor) slipjoint or know anything about his work? I've found one through one of the internet brokers that looks pretty good from the pictures they show of it.

I have only handled a couple and own the one pictured below
David clearly has been well tutored by his Father Gray..Seems to concentrate on delicate gents patterns, well executed with fine materials

David Taylor's knives (that I have seen-they are kind of rare on the ground) are well-put together, with excellent fit-and-finish.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I own one that is very well done. He also does his own engraving. Personally, I think there is alot of value in his knives, but I don't think he will pursue knife making full time.

Gray sent me this of his son's work. It's clean!
