I'm brand new here, first post but a guy has to start somewhere. In browsing the forum I haven't found any Dave Yellowhorse or Dawson knives, they both make some beautiful stuff. Maybe I failed to look in the right place? In any case, very nice to be a member and I will
most likely sign up for a gold membership to help finance the forum. BTW, I may be new here but I'm definitely not new in knives, I have a small but nice collection of many brands and types.

welcome, Sir.

the Buck forum collectors post David Yellowhorse Buck knives sometimes. I only have one myself currently.....

Hi welcome to the forum. If you like knives you found the right place. If you search the right subforums I am sure you can find old Yellowhorse threads and Dawson. Search the Buck forum and Yellowhorse comes up often. Once you learn where to look the forum is invaluable. Also, I have found subforums by clicking on recent posts. This is where you find the most active areas.

Those are custom knife makers, much of the traffic that I've noticed on the Exchange is for production and midtechs (you might find otherwise in the custom knife section of the exchange). I have not seen a ton of talk about custom makers, just here and there.

Thank you very much, I copied your instructions into a Word program so I can keep it for future use. I'm sure I'll do the same with "tips" from other forum members as I am around a while and learn.
