I just got 2 of these knives in today. They are Buck 110 David Yellowhorse Native Steel knives with elk stag handles. The blade is awesome having the texture of an arrowhead! I just thought I would share a photo of one of them.

Looks nice...pic is too small to make out any detail...can you post a URL where it can be seen better?... ;)

I don't know how to get this other picture on here! I'll e-mail a picture if you want.

Not necessary, thanks! I'm looking at it now...(Took me a few seconds to figure out where it was; I thought maybe it was on your site, but now I've found it)...

The blade treatment is interesting...Do you know how he does it??? I've seen similar flint-like finishes, but wasn't sure if they were actually "chipped" or just "pummeled"... :)

I am liking it...

Would you know what blade steel that was before being "native-ized"???

That would really look nice in any collector's collection!!!

I was told that it was the original Buck steel so I imagine it is 420HC. I am not exactly sure how he does the etching but it sure looks awesome! I am putting one in my collection and the other on is for sale.

Thats stipling done with a Dremel tool, Oupa Dirk does that fairly well too

I've seen similar stipling done on Colt Gov't Model front straps; they do it with an air impact tool fitted with a ground-to-a-point cutter...at low pressure, I assume...but on a hardened 420HC blade???...and then getting the dark gray finish???...
