Thought you would like to see Jere Davidson in the process of hand cutting
the engraving on the huge mass of Edmund Davidson's Orgazmatron Integral.
It has now returned from heat treatment, been cleaned and is ready for
the handle slabs and finishing touches.......

These guys make it look so easy.
Can't wait to see the finished product.
Thanks for sharing David.

I would be very interested to know some information about the vise being used. It looks very cool. I want one.:)

I can't wait to see the finished masterpiece. I seen it at the blade show and OMG it's huge. Can't wait to see the price tag either I have an idea.

Here is the full page illustration that will display the Orgazmatron. It is still
waiting for the third image, that of the finished knife....... It will come
reasonably soon.
Edmund Davidson will have the knife on display at the coming Guild Show
in Orlando and maybe still for sale too.

All the best,

Thats a good shot of Jere. Notice he doesnt use any power tools? He says it slows him down. Its all done with hammer and chasers. The guy is swamped with work from gun companies as well.

Actually, Bruce, I took the picture of Jere Davidson in his workshop just
two weeks ago. I always use ambient light (available lighting) and usually
end up capturing the scene as it usually looks.

At time this calls for rather long exposures (1/2 a second to 2 seconds) so
a tripod is basic and a wireless remote is a great tool
