Dawson knives?

I have one of his small fixed blades, but haven't heard much of him lately. Anyone know if he's still making knives?

yes, He, hes wife and their mentor Chris? Cook are all making knives, Im awaiting mine to come back with a left handed sheath.

They tend to hit a lot of gun and knife shows, at least in my exp.

Thank you for the information. As I said, I have one of his small, 2 3/4" blade small game knives. It's at least 20 years old, anyone have any idea of what steel he was using back then? I picked it up second hand so don't have the history on it. Thanks again.

No idea, they're current offerings are 52100, and a damascus containing 4 steels, 15n20, 52100, 5160 and L6(?) that last one im not horribly sure about. but the first three most definitely. All steels are pretty old and easily found even then so it could be one of those.

They're going strong, was checking out their site just the other day and there are some excellent offerings there... lead times are around 3 months.
