Sorry if I am being a picture whore but I love this thing and want to share! I am going to keep a picture diary of my daily use and abuse of this beautiful knife.

Took the Badger out for some target practice and then for some desert hiking today. More abuse, more batoning, more slicing, more cutting, more undeniably awesome performance.

Now I have my buddy convinced he must have one. I see a Game Warden in his future.

At this rate the black coating is going to be gone by Christmas. :D

Great pics!

That wood looks pretty hard...

Yeah it was. I worked it on hard woods, soft woods, did some carving and slicing and I also batoned it and begs for more. It's gonna get a workout because I like to go out for three day desert survival runs and I do a lot of shelter building and fire making so this knife is going to be a great asset. I have been using an SOG seal pup, well that is shelved for good, I may give it away to one of my coworkers :D

Forgive me, but I'm really digging the '91 Mauser. Who is the maker? I have a DWM and a Ludwig Loewe.

Great looking pics!
Looks like you had a great time with the BATAC

It's a Loewe and it's my hunting rifle

Nice. The 1909s get all the good press, but I love the '91s for their straight-line feed. The 7.65 round is a real sleeper.

I took a couple younger colleagues shooting and brought a '91 and a '96 Swede. They both had a hard time believing 100 year old rifles could work as well as those old Mausers. The AR boys at the range didn't know what to think.

Very cool. I've got one in the mail right now that I wanna beat on too.:thumbup:

The 7.65 is an excellent hunting round and the precision of the bolt action on this weapon after 100 years is amazing
