Not totally sure what you mean by "traditional" but I think this fits the bill. I also really like the fighting/utility

BTW I think the blade of the original warthog mated to the ZK line handle would be a perfect addition to the zombie line.
 
I'm going to have to say the full-size USMC KA-BAR. You don't get to be carried by the Marines for 70 years without a reason! Oh, and leather handles beat synthetic handles too :)

USMC. It's the knife I, and most people I know, associate with a soldier's knife and WWII. Most famous knife of Kabar, IMO.
 
My favorite is the full size USMC fighter. I bought the commemorative version for my Dad a few years ago and he still cherishes it.

I used to work for a retired Marine that fought in WW2. While we worked together he would tell of his experiences in combat.
He referred to it as "his knife" but I knew what he was talking about.

He was in the battle of Tarawa and said that the only reason he survived the beach head was because he was short.
He saw his fellow Marines that were wading through the surf get taken down left and right. So he ducked under the water and pushed hard for shore, when he got to the beach he picked up a rifle and went to work. The rest of his fellows saw what he had done and followed suite. Because of that, more of his fellow Marines survived to take that little atoll.
