Took my little brother to the local state park today for a little day-hike, some lunch, and of course...a fire! While he was making smores I took a picture of my trusty Beckers. Excellent quality for an unbelievable price, couldn't be happier with them.

Nice pic! I have'nt been able to beat on my BK-7 yet. How does it hold up next to the BK-2?

So far I've been using my BK7 strictly to baton my firewood (4-5") with. I have no doubts about the abilities of my BK2, but I tend to prefer my ESEE 4 (Sorry, wrong forum I know) for a 4-5" camp knife. The BK7 weighs about the same as my BK2 and is far more versatile in my opinion. I plan on downgrading my BK2 to a BK16 when funds come my way.

Nice! High praise for the 7. I look forward to knocking mine around a little bit! I'd like to try out an esee one of these days, but I've still got a few more Beckers to buy before that happens.lol

ESEEs are good. Mine doesn't get much time in the field though. Mostly just cuts the apples I eat while I'm surfing this here forum. Only my Beckers and Bravo-1 come out to the woods really.

I like the ESEE steel. Its the handles that lack in my opinion. Just not the right ergonomics for me.

That's my issue with the 2. I just don't understand why you'd carry something that size with that much weight. People love it though.

I here you. I have a 4 I need to get rid of. Handles are just off for me too.
