Hello all.
We made it out to the woods again and I got to bring along my brand spanking new (after a few mods) BK-11CSM. First off let me get this out of the way. Yes, I could have bought almost three regular BK-11’s for the price of this thing. I am a sucker for composite blades. Yes the rumors of poor quality control were true. This thing looked like somebody got their Playschool “My First Grinder” set and went to town. I rounded out all the sharp uneven corners, convexed it, and then gave it a bath in some muriatic acid. It is absolutely gorgeous now. I love it. On to the pics.

A couple beauty shots.

The little guy absolutely loves the woods and there were plenty of little critters to play with.

Found a huge stump of fatwood.

The little guy had to taste some. I chewed on a chunk for a bit and while it does make your breath smell nice it doesn’t taste “safe” to chew on.

It was such a long day that the little guy didn’t even make it all the way up the stairs.

Hope you all enjoyed and I’m looking forward to meeting some of you all at the gathering.

Looks like a great time with the fam, thanks for sharing. Nice looking blade too.

Awesome day out! The pic with your little fella holding the toad is priceless! He looks very proud of himself for catching his prize...I love it!

Haha, my thoughts exactly. Reminds me of me when I was a kid. I always liked snakes, as my older brother did. We always had a garter, or bull snake.

Great pics and good use of time Tankerwolf. Family time is some of the best!
