Hi,
Just gt back from a day hike in beautiful Whiteshell Provincial Park in Manitoba. Went to Bear Lake... named for its shape, though we did see some fairly fresh bear scat, and dug up stump/roots. Hope you enjoy the pics!

The trail, much of which was on the granite of the Canadian Shield:
And, of course, my blades for the day. The top one is a new Daniel Winkler purchase. I like the bowie-shape blade, about 4.5 inches. The smaller blade is an Ed Caffrey EBK-I; I've taken to carrying a small fixed blade in my pocket rather than a folder.
