took a hike up Bake Oven Knob (1,585 feet (483.11 m)) with the wife and her little brother. No user pics but the fog was very thick and made for some eerie shots. Felt like i was in the movie "The Mist"

The blades I brought Fiddleback Machete, Rat HEST, Fletcher Pocket Kilo, and of course the beast Becker Bk2 (no user pics but the machete got some light path clearing use and the bk2 showed some hippies whats what)

Now for the "survival pic" the hippies camping at the summit. The were trying to chop up some wood with a walmart gerber saw. The bk2 made quick work of it (again not pics since i was doing all the work and i snapped this one on the way back down the mt)

Thanks I was hoping to use em but with such dense fog, going off the beaten path was not a wise idea since there are tons off drop offs up there. Next time ill be sure to get a bunch of user stuff up

Man, that would be one of those trails if you were alone on it & that much fog, you would really need to keep your imagination in check . . . . :)
Good looking shots, looks like a good area to "play" around in.
Be safe.

Thanks! yeh i actually just got it this morning which is why i dragged the wife into the woods on such a crappy day :) it is razor sharp and so light and well balanced yet it cuts well on big chops (I marked trees when we got off the path to find our way back in the fog by chopping a chunk of bark off) im very happy with my pick up so far!

Fog stays the view but provides a filtered light and lush greens that are gorgeous. I get that sad feeling when I see a road dozed through the good stuff as well. Thanks for sharing your trip!
