Day O' New Steel

Howdy folks! The mailman was generous to me today, and I got a couple of sweet new blades at my doorstep. On top of that, I also took the afternoon and stripped the coating from my BK9. There are still some scratches from the removal process, which I'll buff out over time, but I'm quite happy with how it looks overall. Very 'worth it'.

I also got a new bowie in, made by a fella named Rayban over at Rammy. This won a build competition there. It's really gorgeous, roughly 6" blade and 6" handle. The leather is just beautiful. This is probably the closest thing to a safe queen that I've ever owned. (Though I've already used it on fuzzies and chopping and such, which it's great for).

And on top of all that, I got my sweet new Vic Hiker from Stingray's giveaway! I've not owned this model before and it's a real winner. I'll be carrying it quite frequently for sure.

All in all an impressive day for my steel! I hardly want to leave the house, so I can play with them all longer!!
