Hey everyone! This is his girlfriend and I wanted to post some pictures from our day out together today! We fished a little, but since nothing was biting we decided to go through the woods and find interesting things! Hope you enjoy them.

Nice, and proof that a bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work :) Looks like a nice area, garter snakes are pretty cool.
 
Thanks! And yea it was a pretty good walk until it started to rain.. The garter snake actually scared me then we chased it and it was pretty cute. Ducking behind leaves and stuff. :) we tried to find turkeys & such but just ended up finding a deer feeder and a deer stand with a camera. Lame!
 
Thanks for the pics, looks like a great little hike. Not sure if it's just the pics but it doesn't look super warm out, I bet that Garter snake was pretty sluggish eh !
 
Thanks everyone :) yes pitdog it's pretty chilly out & rainy! Prob around 60° an that snake was actually pretty quick still! :)

Eh, look at all the green and the pants she's wearing. Not all that cold yet. Not everyone is like you and runs around half naked in the snow!
 
Great photo's Lauren; love your little Chive. It's a great time of the year to be out and I really love the color changes. I grew up in WA and green is beautiful, but I really appreciate the change up in the fall here in GA with the oaks and such.

Glad to see you guys enjoying the day out!

Thanks Rock6. I love my little knives! I have this one & the Spyderco Bug! :) he gets all the over sized huge knives & I get the baby ones!! :) I have some new pictures from the same woods from today! :)

Your lucky you have an area like that where you live, Im out here in Orange county. Nothing like that here without driving a good distance.
 
I do love having the woods in walking distance of our house! It was very relaxing sitting up in the woods. :) Now if only I could see other wildlife other than snakes! haha
