Daytona!

Pa..lease........Jr, is just lucky to be part of the club. He'll also be lucky to make the Chase.

As I said last year, If you cant beat em...

As much as NASCAR and the fans want Jr. to win, let's face it he just doesn't have the talent. In my eyes he's the 4th best driver on his own team.

one man's opinion. its only the first race of the season. we'll see what happens in Nov.

I've always wondered why Jr. isn't given a breathalizer after races, as he drives like he's been drinking most of the time. Just another opinion though.

My thoughts too on the subject.

I still miss the 'older' drivers. Still a few of them left racing, but not for long.
Mark Martin, Bill Elliot and the likes.

As long as Tony friggin Stewart doesn't win, I'll be happy.

Mike's right. The good 'ol tough guys days...

Elliott's still the fastest driver in NASCAR. Petty had 200 wins.

Bring back David Pearson...the only driver to have a functioning cigarette lighter in his car...said his zippo wouldn't work in all that wind!

And someone please tell me what the only remaining "stock" part is on these stock cars...

You better watch out he might come to your house and beat the crap out of you. I always look in the paper on Mondays after the races to see who won and who Tony went after in the NASCAR trailer. I'm kinda suprised they haven't started puting up a boxing ring and letting him work off his anger as part of the post race show. Maybe something like NASCAR meets WWE wrestling, they have the same demographic. :D

SPX... the only similar part on thses cars and road cars is infact the only part on a car that hasn't changed since they started using air filled tires....the schrader valve.

spiral, you are correct! And even more so in the fact that you used the word "similar". Close, but still not the same as a production car.

didn't he just win the Dual and and Bush series (or whatever they're calling it now) races?

sheesh... way to write the guy off when his pit crew screws the pooch and doesn't put all the lug nuts back on...
