It depends on what you want to do with it. I also like the TK (I almost got one at Blade West-but something else on the table really grabbed me), but it is not made for the same thing as the DB. I originally requested the guys at Strider to build me a small knife that would do everything my BT or WB would as far as strength. I carried a BT in my war bag in my unit as a police officer, but I couldn't carry it all the time. The DB was designed to fit inside the trauma plate pocket of my body armor, so it was always with me. It was used often. The DB is basically a "back-up" to the full-size BT. I am a big beliver in consistant carry in handguns. When carrying a full size HK or Glock on duty, I will usually carry a small compact version of the same gun as a back-up or off-duty. This was part of the design of the DB. It was the BT I could carry everywhere and always have, yet worked identical as far as techniques for use as my big one. If you are happy with your BT and are training with it, I would go with the DB for consistancy in training and deployment. If you are looking for a knife to do a different job, then the Tk may be the right tool.
