DBH use #57

Chipping the ice off of a snow covered roof.

Thought about getting a claw hammer, but this was much more fun.

I also used the carving stick from the last gathering to sweep the snow off the roof, so I didn't create a mini avalanche and knock myself off the ladder.

For anyone wishing to attempt this, make sure you look in the opposite direction as you chop at the roof, so as to avoid ice chips in and around your face.

It started out as snow but after a couple thaws and freezes, it was starting to build up pretty good.

You should get a DBH as soon as possible. Truly something to behold and be held.
