Hey, guys, It's been a good while. When are we going to have another get together? After the New Year? If no-one else wants to put it together, I will do so, but it will have to be convenient to me if I do, so I am feeling
like I am hogging things. Maybe we can do a dinner somewhere once the holiday madness has quieted down. I, for one, am looking forward to it.

I added Baltimore so that we might try going there for a Saturday lunch or dinner. You may remember that we had discussed the possibility of meeting at a BladeForums member's restaurant. Was it Chefget?

I'm interested. I met chefget at the Chesapeake show last weekend and would love to meet other afflicted individuals like myself.

We're due to get together. Baltimore would be fine. Sometime in January sounds good to me.

Sorry to respond so late, I haven't been in the community forum lately. Can't we move this to the general forum so it can get some legs. Some where on the red line is good for me.

If you make it before Jan 17, count me in. If I'd known, I'd have brought more of my knives back from school.

Don't forget to pay your taxes...they eventually become my knives:)

Baltimore would be a little far for me. How about Columbia, its about half way. A buddy of mine owns a resturant there, I can get more info if there is any interest.

Phantom4, howsabout, say Saturday, 1/15/2000, for lunch in Columbia at your friend's place. This would include Amacks, and maybe someone could pick up Clint.

OK, guys, spread the word! Let's "do lunch".

If you all are interested, I think there is a gun/knife show at the Timonium Fairgrounds in late January. Good ribs close by. (You won't need a knife to eat them, tho'.)

I've got to be in a seminar in Baltimore on 1/13; wish I could make it up for the 15th, but mine's one of those jobs where you have to bill and account for every stinkin' minute of the day! I'll make it to one of these functions, I swear it on those new mustard-flavored pretzel deals. Richmond's not that far; it's just a matter of timing. Professor.

All my Saturday's are tied up through March. I coach my sons wrestling team and all the meets are on Saturday. I moved to Bethesda recently and the red line is convenient in to the district but I don't have to take it. I do have a car and I know how to use it.

Sorry, hope I can catch you all next time if it doesn't work out.

Columbia on the 15th works for me! Heck, I'm already here. Phantom4, talk to your friend and tell us where.

Hey guys,

I'd love to help out, but we closed the Orchard Inn on Sept 25! C'est la guerre!

I'm in for a get together in Balto-Columbia area. Met up with Damon last weekend!

So wheres it gonna be?

Ok everyone, Phantom4 posted over in community that his Columbia restaurant connection fell through. I've volunteered to make the arrangements for everyone since I live in Columbia (the suburb, not the District of). Everyone who WILL REALLY come, please post here, or preferably, email me at tokomoru@aol.com so that I can get a good head count. This is my post to Phantom4 in community:

Phantom4, I'm thinking Clyde's in towncenter next to the lake would be good. Easy to find. It's off route 175 from either I95 or Route 29 going west into Columbia. Its just past the Hotel in towncenter, across from the mall, next to the lake. You need to park in any of the open lots near the theater and walk towards the lake. Good range of menu selections and prices. I need to know about how many of us are going to go on the 15th and I'll make the arrangements.

I'll try to make it.. I'm west of town, in VA. Just send me the final details whenever they're compiled... (date, time, place and directions(?)...)

I would be interested in meeting fellow Knife lovers in Columbia on 1/15/00. Please name the time and place.

Please count me in! I will attend if you confirm the time and place once it is set.

Thanks,

Place and time posted over on Community as:

Place: Clydes in Columbia Town Center (overlooking the lake).

Time: 1:00 PM

See you all there next Saturday!

This is the post I just made in the community forum. Please post replys there:

I think we can arrange to be a little isolated from the rest of the crowd, but I really don't know how much. I spoke with the restaurant about it. We need about twenty to justify a group reservation in a separate area. I'm not counting that many attendees right now. Everyone, please email me to confirm: tokomoru@aol.com

The date is January 15, 2000 Saturday at 1 PM
The place is Clydes of Columbia
10221 Wincopin Circle
Columbia, MD
410-730-2828 (Clydes phone #)

Take I95 or Route 29 to Route 175 West into Columbia Town Center. Wincopin Circle is about a half mile from the intersection of Rt 175 and Rt 29. Route 175 is also labeled in town as Little Patuxent Parkway. As the road straightens out after crossing route 29, you will see a 5-6 story high rise hotel building on the left. The Columbia Mall is on the right. There are several free open air parking areas all along the left (East) side of the road. Just park in any one of these lots. Lake Kittmankundi is due EAST of Little Patuxent Pkwy. Clydes is just south of the theater complex near the hotel on Wincopin Circle. Clydes is in the bottom floor of a building facing the lake (you can't see Clyde's from the parking lots, although there are small pointer signs. Hope to see many knife knuts there. Again, please email me to confirm. If I am sure will might have close to twenty, I think we can reserve a private area. I check into this idea a little more. And explain Why we want to be isolated from the sheeple.

Attendees confirmed:

1. Paracelsus
2. Hugh Fuller (email)
3. Bob Irons (email)
4. Phantom4 (community thread)
5. Friend of Phantom4
6. Damon (this thread)
7. Root (this thread)
8. Chefget (this thread)
9. Unocide (this thread)
10. SDouglas (this thread)

Anyone else coming?

Please post replys in the Community forum so I can try to keep this list updated. Also, email confirmation is requested so we can be as accurate as possible in counting heads:
