FOR SALE:
One SRKW Ratweiler. I have not seen one like this on either forums. Im not saying there isnt one out there, I just havent seen it. So Im going to take the leap and say that this is one of a kind. A Ratweiler with a Double Cut finish. I did the beadblasting myself. Hand sanded the blade first then blasted with sand and finally with glass. The finish turned out very nice. Smooth and clean. You can now see the temper line from the factory differentially heat-treatment. Which IMHO gives it a very cool look. I did the whole knife. Spine and underbelly and even the hollow tube fasteners. Included in this deal is a brand, spankin new Armoralleather sheath. Dwayne custom made this sheath for a high mount and a snug fit. The knife has only been in the sheath twice for pictures. The Rat has never seen any action and has never been stropped or sharpen. The convex edge is still sharp even after the beadblasting. Short work on a strop would give it a razor edge. Ill leave that for those of you who are better at stropping than me!
On a side note, there are a couple of what I call blemishes on the blade. Two of them are raised and some of them look like grain marks. They were covered by the original black crinkle coating. Havent a clue were they came from but they obviously were there from the factory. Dont know if theyre from the heat treating, the grinding or maybe Jerry spilled his beer on it.
They arent extreme by any account and if it doesnt bother SRKW it sure as heck doesnt bother me. The only reason Im mentioning it, is that I want to be straight up and fair about anything Im selling. I included a picture of it. The 3rd picture shows what Im talking about. I had to do a close up otherwise it wouldnt show up.
Ok that was the pitch, now for the bottom line! To my front door the Ratweiler cost $188.90 and the sheath was $70.00. Im not charging for any of the labor or materials, for the reason that I had FUN doing it! If I wasnt planning on buying another Busse I wouldnt even being selling this baby. Its sweet!
Im asking $245.00 and Ill pay shipping and handling (USPS). CONUS only please. Will accept money orders, USPS preferred. For more pics or info please email at solstice621@gmail.com
I will accept Paypal. If payment is made by Paypal, I'll have to add $5.00 to the price. Paypal charges me 3% for the transaction. $250.00 if by PayPal. If you want to use PayPal, please send me an email so I can give you the correct email address used by my PayPal account.
SOLD
Thanks for looking, sorry about the long post!
