I recently received these pics from Darrel. These little MM's are unbelievable. I believe he is doing a run of them on his muse site.

Check out the filework on this one. It is called "Hyperstep I™". It is 3D file work. Black Lip insrts. It has gold-plated and heat colored fixtures. I saw some raw pieces a couple of weeks ago and was blown away... the finished pieces are just unbelievable.

His new gripper design is excellent! Great look and great function! He did a great job finishing out the damascus on both the blade and handle. The handle is a nice subdued look that gives it a very nice wood grain look. He has some other improvements in the pipeline that will be showing up soon. I really like the way he is evolving the Maxx.

The handle really came out nice. When I saw it, it was in a very raw for. Not buffed, etched, nothing... I am really impressed with the end product.

The inlays are to die for!!
