Just thought I would post up some photos of my baby. In my opinion this is one of the best, if not the best knife on the market today. Tough as nails and with the ROBO assisted opening and the flipper, this knife is really fast to open. I figured with Blade coming up I would make some of you drool. I am sure there will be quite a few there.

It's not luck Rat F. It's...... Ok yeah it's luck. I love this knife. It rides in my pocket with pride. Gets a lot of use too.

Is it something you would clip on FTXs? How do you think that assist opener would work with grit and dirt from the field? Easy to clean? Is it a tough user?

well, luck. . . and several hundred smackers.

Actually this knife was a chanukah/birthday present from my wonderful girlfriend (MDWolf here in the BFC) who sometimes posts in these parts. It is the best knife I have ever owned and I use it with pride, not fear that I will break it. That and Darrel has assured me that if anything goes wrong with it, he will fix it. I have met Darrel in person and he is a great human being, knives aside, so I feel like I have a piece of him with me when I carry it. OK that sounded gay, but I am telling you this knife is amazing.

Does she have a sister? ;)

That is a great gift!

I like those DDR knives a lot.

No sister. You are really gonna hate this part. She has 2 Darrel Ralph balisongs. One Venturi custom with glow in the dark lightning bolts inlaid in carbonfiber inserts which is one of a kind. The other a is a newer dagger style with green and plain anodized Ti. She carries a EKI CQC13 as an EDC, and has a few other knives knocking around. She is also good looking. LOL Too late for you guys though. We are getting married on 10 Jun. LOL

That is a lucky match, to meet a knife knut of the female variety.
Congrats on your upcoming marriage.

I forgot about her "baby" though. We are cutting the wedding cake with her Ikoma Guardian Angel. That is one amazing knife. Yeah I am pretty lucky. She didn't even balk at me when she heard that I ordered another Gunhammer, with a bowie blade this time for the Chesapeake Knife Show. Gotta love a knife wielding woman.

Cool. I didn't realize the gunhammer was offered with a clip point blade option? Got a link or a pic?

Ah, I have seen that one before, isnt it called EDC-something?
I had always considered it more of a drop point.
I was thinking it would be cool to have a more pronounced clip point, kind of like the one on the buck 110.

Yeah it is the EDC X. A drop point is probably more correct than what I though it was. When I talked to Darrel I asked for a bowie blade and he said sure, so I may get the first one. I am not gonna get this one till December though. I also would like to get a dagger Gunhammer from him. At first the price seems crazy, but when you hold it, you will understand.

USAFSP and I got ours on the same day(first ones BABY), its my EDC and Its my baby, I put her through all kinds a hell and clean her with a magic eraser when her handles get dirty. The best knife I own as far as EDC and work. I have field dressed several deer and 3 geese with it. The ball bearings are like heaven for opening and closing, it will take one heck of a knife to replace this in my right front pocket:cool: . Here are some pics of my baby.
