When Darrel Ralph sent me his MQ1A folder, at first, I wasn't really impressed. Plus, I do not like re-curves, at all. That impression has changed! The 3 1/2" S30V, .125 stock blade is perfect for utility, military and other uses. The flipper is, well, a flipper. I love it. The blade locks with a .07 locking bar.That's a thick bar! The 3D G-10 gives a great grip and feels super in the hand.Tip-down pocket clip. The folder is blade heavy when open, due to the light handle, but this does not matter at all to me. The knife just feels so good in my hand. Satin or Blackish blades are offered. If you are on the market for an all-purpose folder, I highly recommend the MQ1A from Darrel Ralph Knives.
