Here are a few Ralph's that went to the NYC show

A new model. Gunhammer Flipper, 1911 styled flipper, recurve blade, framelock. I believe this one to have fluted micarta inserts.

A close up of the 1911 Gunhammer flipper:

Venturi II with WeeHawk damascus blade, Snakewood inserts

Madd Maxx with gold pins and ivory inlays?

Combate Elite, Tanto with CF inlays:

Madd Maxx blued. The one in the shop tour that was in assembly. The has the Step filework!!

Madd Maxx blued. Full open shot

Madd Maxx - Mike Norris damascus, Black Lip Pearl inlays:

The more I looked at the new gunhammer's design & beefy factors, I reallized that's going to be my new EDC (a bit into the new year), that is no frail tool there...

That Gunhammer is a good looking design. The only thing I'm not sure about is the hole in the flipper. Does it serve a purpose, or is it cosmetic only?

Yeah, that gunhammer speaks to me to! As does that blued mad Max, and the tanto RRF!

I would imagine the hole simply strengthens the similarity to the look of a 1911 commander style hammer.

Yep, the skeletonized hammer look, the "hole" would be totally un-noticed in the working of the flipper, but it's a cool visual tie to custom modded 1911 .45's like Coop's photo, and that Darrel put the little cuts / grip surface on it (also like a "gun hammer" thus the name) does lend to it's flipper functionality, uh, I like it and I'm rambling cause I like it and that make me ramble cause I like it....

When I was looking at pix of 1911 hammers I did see some with the serrations. It was on a Bauer I do believe.

When ya got 3 or so clips coming out of the pockets, yeah, we might have a little addiction problem... I know I do!

I've been taking too many photo's! I saw the post for a new model but can't see any shots of her! Nice knife though!

Thanks for the good words. I just returned from the NY show. The blade will be just under 4 inches.
I will have three blade styles for this knife.,
One is the EDC-X blade that is shown.
This design was taken from my past EDC knife design. I added stuff to it and upgraded it but the basic style is from the EDC blade.

The second is a recurve tanto ... it willbe very wild looking.

The Third is a geo tanto that I designed a few years back and have been saving it for this knife.
This design is two years old.
I have just been waithing for the right time to build it.

Ill let you all know more later.
Anyone interested please email me off forum.

Darrel makes a nice knife and he's a gentleman to boot. Thanks for the pics of some of his new models. That blued MM is mine (yes it's awesome!) and it's sitting at my house, unfortunately, I've been out of town for work all week- so it's nice to see my new knife!!

The blade length is just under 4".
Ill have pix of the tanto today and post them for you good folks.
