DDR shop visit Sept 19

Here are a couple of things going on at DDR's place..
This one is cool.

An 5.5" HD Madd Maxx - light's out mode ?!!?

The HD 5.5" Madd Maxx - lights on!! Moonglow inlays

This turned up in one of the dark corners of the shop. A chunk of DDR made Damascus Twist.
Darrel said that it is likely this chunk of metal will yield one blade. This damascus will never come around again.
Darrel is no longer forging his own steel and has no plans to do so.

It looks like a big Madd Maxx or and AXD is in the future of some lucky person.

This is a new blade style for the Meyerco Maxx. A Recurve Tanto. Looks good. I am anxious to see this one finished out.

Hi CM. I spotted a small Celtic handle set. No telling to what order they belong. Also, got your message. I'll watch your posts on the small dammy EDC and these.

Hey RB... I have not seen any prototypes of this sort.
So far, this Tanto and the Stilleto blade. Post an example of what you have in mind. You never know!!

This is an interesting piece. Literally, a high profile inlay is has gone into this 3in Madd Maxx, soon to be shipped off to this collector.

Almost reminds me of the Burn autos with the skull buttons. BTW Dan, I did like you said and sent Darrel that (possibly) first Maxx.

Personally I do not care for inlays with such height; but everyone is different. Makes for a fun world. The collector provided the inlay to Darrel for use in the knife.

Glad you sent that piece in Matt. That is indeed an oldie. Put it up, hold it for a spell and for god sakes dude; don't grind it up . LOL!!!

I love that thing. Do you think DDR will ever make an HTM version of that Maxx? Maybe a liner lock? (something more affordable for people like me hehe).

Darrel will be producing the HTM Maxx with a 4" blade. Once production begins I will get some shots posted.
