Hello, everyone, was wondering if anyone knew appx. how old this knife is? It is a Camillus 4 inch serpentine stockman, 3 blades, with the main blade a muskrat clip. Red jigged bone scales and grooved bolsers. Etched on the clip is Camillus De Luxe stock knife. On the main blade tang stamp it has Camillus with a line under it,then New York with USA under that. On the other side of the tang it has 69.Has a standard sheep foot blade and a spey blade with the words For Flesh Only. It has nickel liners with what appears to be light file work along them, kind of like the edge of a dime. Also, the middle liner, on the back between the springs has the same type of file work but just every 1/2 inch or so.The pins and rivets are also nickel. This is really a well made knife in great unsharpened condition, but I have never seen this fancy of a knife from Camillus. I am a new poster, long time lurker here. Thanks

The blade stamping indicates that your knife was made in 1946 or later. The bone handles also indicate that your knife was most likely
made in the 1940's or early 1950's. Later model #69 knives would most likely have
acetate or pyroxylin handles. If you can e-mail me your postal mailing address, I will
send you copies of our older catalog sheets
showing the model #69 knife.

Just for fun, here's the 'after' picture:

Picked it up last Saturday at a flea market for $5
I've been carrying it all week, and though worn, there is no blade wobble. (it has the synthetic scales, so I'm guessing it's as old as early 60's or newer?
