Recommendation? Dead Reckon Knives?

I’ve had one, very nice well made knife. The handle can be tight for bigger hands. Really like the wharncleaver blade. The pivot design is interesting, they claim it will never develop blade play. I didn’t put that to the test. I got rid of mine mainly cause I just never carried it but I didn’t like that you can’t take it apart and I didn’t like the design of how the button lock actuates. Other than that solid company with great guys.

I have one of their original Titanium models and am very happy with it. Thoughtfully designed with a lot of small details I value like chamfered edges, clean and complex grinds, designed with use in mind, etc.
Well-made, fairly priced, and I find it comfortable in hand although its not for folks that prefer thin handles. It feels bigger than it is which I find typical of integrals. Blade leans more toward thick than thin but I don't think it reaches overbuilt. I could do without the forward choil but that's just personal preference. Handles are not contoured but doing so would add substantially to the price as an American made integral.
Edit to add: button lock is unique and makes for very soft actuation. AKA, it doesn't fire open. That matters more to some than others.
I'll also add that I've spoken to the owners directly a couple of times and find them passionate about making a good product. They were friendly, appreciative of their clients, and sought feedback. Again, that's something I value so they earn my support

I was looking for an MIA knife, and came across them in a search. Looks like an innovative design and top quality workmanship, but neither of their current offerings were doing anything for me in terms of blade shape.

That said, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on them should they release something like a clip/spearpoint or a tanto.

They are also the OEM for Half Face Blades folders ( the disaster and crow folder atleast) so there are a few more options if you aren't into the house designs.
Good info. Didn’t know that. I handled one of the HFB folders at Sharp Things OKC a week ago and told the guy it reminded me of Dead Reckon knives.

I don't own one, but I live very close and I've been lucky enough to handle them on several occasions since my local store stocks their products.

They're very nice, but kind of odd. The biggest con that I think knife nuts will have is that you can't take them apart fully. That said, everything is sealed in such a manner that you shouldn't have to.

Pros are kind of everything else. An integral US made folder for the price they offer is one heck of a deal. I was a little torn because I didn't like the blade shapes they offered much, but I just saw they've introduced a someone simpler, very pointy blade to the Ridgeback and I might need one of those.

Take a look at the "where to buy" section on their website and click the first link, then search for Dead Reckon Knives there. They have a blade shape in stock that you might like more.

Not mentioning the dealer by name because I don't know if they're a supporting member here.
