Our very own @DeadboxHero was on The DBK Show, the most recent episode (5). It was about sharpening, and revealed that Shawn was responsible for turning them onto the 1 micron diamond compound that they now resell. If you don’t know, DBK is short for Dutch Bushcraft Knives, a YouTube channel with a lot of fun videos.

I just thought it was fun to see online knife worlds collide, since DBK doesn’t have a lot of presence on Blade Forums.

Also I’ve been trying to decide if I stick with diamond paste or try the spray on my basswood strop. No idea if there’s any difference.

The only link I have is a bit obnoxious as it tries to open it in an app on Apple systems. But I don’t think they have a dedicated site for a the podcast other than this.

Thanks for the working link. Excellent show and hope they have him on again and nerd out more on steel and knives.

I hope they figure out their audience. I think everyone was trying to figure out if they were talking to the new person who just got his first bushcraft knife, or the person who already knew what a heat treatment is, and already knows what carbides are.

Lol yea good point. I believe most of there audience has limited knowledge. But not all.
