Deadpool axe.

mayby a stupid question but i just finnished watching Deadpool movie and there is a fight scene where Ajax (mr badguy) fights Deadpool with what it looks like 2 fireman axes now im wondering if anyone knows the manufacture of these axes or if they where made just for the movie.
It looks like they are "solid" metal no wood handles.

I'd guess movie props all the way. They appear to have a full sized, standard fireman's axe head and it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for someone to make them with handles that short or handles made of metal. A full sized head would weight 3-1/2lbs, give or take, and obviously there is no way someone could swing them like that one handed, nor would they want to. I mean, obviously they would use a prop in a movie, but the short length of the handle wouldn't help make an actual version of these axes one handed tools. The handles look exactly like a wooden handle that's been painted silver or molded from. Horrible props, just like the movie itself.
