That's very beautiful and it doesn't look like it was created in 2008. It's like an antique.
 
Carl, This is a cool knife and sheath. The damascus and the sheath are amazing. Yes more please.
 
How was that pattern created? It's amazing, never seen a damascus blade that had near a look like that. The rest of the knife lives up to the amazing damascus very well, it all makes a great package. I especially like that extra touch of the cards on the sheath, just kind of ties it all in nicely.

Thank you all for your praise of my knife construction. The blade has its own story that fits in well with the underlying theme of "Dead Man's Hand ". My good friend Micke Andersson who made ​​the blade would deliver it to a customer a year when we visited the Blade Show in Atlanta. But the customer did not show up. Later it turned out that he died just before the show. Then Mike gave it to me and I, of course, gratefully accepted the gift...
