Blem #3 21 inch 21 ounce Chainpuri by Bura. Beautiful Knife. Slight shrinkage of wood -- little epoxy fill makes it perfect. Take it for $55 YBB. *SOLD*

Blem #4 21 inch 26 ounce Gelbu special by Sher. Great Khukuri except slight shrinkage of horn and small imperfection on spine. Today's best deal at $40 delivered. *SOLD*

GREAT......the day after I break into my kuk funds for misc maintenance issues, the Blems sale I have been waiting on comes up. I would get that Kobra in a split second if i still had the funds. I think it would make a nice contrast to my M43.
 
A 21" chainpuri for $55!!! What a great deal. That and the 18" AK, as well as the Gelbu. Across the board the entire batch is selling for less than half-price. :thumbup:

I have to admit I didn't realize how much of a steal the Gelbu was until I checked out the price on the HI website. Reg. $175:eek: :eek:

How do you find the Gelbu for chopping? Is it better for brush clearing than chopping? I'm trying to branch out from my AK/CAK fixation give some other models a chance.

what's wrong with shrinkage in horn? why's that a blem? are we talkin when the horn fibers contract so much it splits?
 
nothing wrong with shrunken horn at all imo...
worse case is that you may have to file down the sharp buttcap :D :thumbup:
