If this Samsher by Sgt. Khadka is anything like the one I received the other day, it is a winner. Tough as nails, large but balanced beautifully. It is a fantastic khukuri.

OMG!!! the khadka samsher is still available *gasp*
im surprised nobody has sharked this one up...
everyone does realize this is a limited/seasonal run not offered on a regular basis right?!?!? :)

Unfortunatly it's a little big for my taste, and some of us are poor starving students, and can't afford the lovely collections sported by some of you ;) .....though we will eventually. :D

Cannot believe the Samsher lasted 8 hours. It was waiting for me, but I was busy pruning trees outside instead of sitting in front of the computer. Only 1 or 2 18"+ Samshers from Sgt. come up each year. Each as beautiful as the last. I LOVE that handle and the deeply hued walnut he always uses.

Dagnabit. Congrats to whoever nabbed it.

Wish I had seen it! I have a hidden tang one about this size. Not that I could really afford it, but it sitting this long is a good sign. I need to check in more often than once a week.

This fishing knife is really a nice one as well. The last one didn't really appeal to me, but today's has a really great shape to it.

Boy, this Samsher is sweet. Makes my 15" AK look rather wee.

I noticed that the bolster seems to be forged from the same steel as the blade and tang(?!).

It's a lovely khuk, and while a Samsher by the good Sgt. could potentially have some collector's value later on, I'm not sure I could avoid using it... it beckons to chop somethin'!
