Deal or not?

My wife knows I want a junglas and a 5. She came to me with a deal, she said if I buy her a weiner dog she will by both knives for me. As of now I have four esees but need the junglas and the 5..... Should I make the deal?:cool: haha
 
I'm not a dog guy... not really a pet guy, so I'd say "no".

But if you like dogs sounds like a good deal.

(Have fun picking up it's poop.) :thumbup:
 
it's probably cheaper if you just buy the knives yourself. However if you ever want to get any again, buy her the dog.

I wouldn't want to deal with a dog for 10+ years unless I wanted it.

$340 or less isn't a fair trade for all of the years of taking care of, feeding, and picking up the dog crap....along with all the walks you'll take it on. It may grow on you, though. Personally, I love dogs but wouldn't make a deal like this. You should be able to buy a knife if you want (as long as you can afford it) because it won't affect her daily life. A dog is a lot of work. Don't make a bargain for what you want, take/do what you want.

If it is inevitable, go ahead. Be careful about trading things like this in a relationship, though. If it becomes a habit it'll be hard to break. You won't be able to get anything for yourself unless she gets something. You should be able to buy what you want as long as it's your money and you have money for food.
 
I'd say go for it. Not sure what good a wiener dog would be, but probably score you some good points with the wife. The knives will out last the dog anyway.
 
You should try and convince her to get a different breed ... Dachshunds are very strong willed and can be quite difficult to train.

you are wise in the ways of marriage my son... :D
check petfinder - see if there's an abandoned dachshund in your area.
much cheaper than pet store or breeder.
point out this is a breed that needs exercise - if they get fat, they have some serious health issues.
they also chew as puppies.
that said, they're a hoot as pets -- and can catch mice & rats.

If you buy a weener dog there is something you must do. Follow these directions.

1) Buy Weener Dog
2) Buy Giant Hotdog Bun
3) Put Dog in Bun
4) Post Pictures here
5) You win!

Absolutely, talk about a win-win.

Wife grew up with dachshunds, they are great dogs. I love having a dog, he's a part of the family.

This assuming you have a soul and like dogs. If you aren't ready for the dog thing, buy the knives yourself and tell her to go make you a sammich.
 
dachshunds are great dogs,they're known as the badger hound cuz they were used for hunting you guessed it badgers.I can see why people want you to get her a lab awesome dogs,but you say the deal is a dachshund for a Jungles & ESEE5 not a lab and two Beckers.
I'd take that deal!just be sure to crate train that pup & spare your carpets life.

If your a dog guy, take the deal! They really are great dogs. But word of warning, get it house trained early, they have a MAJOR tendency to have a difficult time to house train. If you don't they'll pee on everything for a long, long time!
