Deal Spotting?

I recently started a thread on the spyderco sub forum letting others know about the M4 Manix 2 that is a dealer exclusive becoming available on a certain site and that I had just pre-ordered one, however it was taken down and I was cited for deal spotting, however I didn't mention the price, which seems to not matter anyway since its not a "deal" there's only one place to get it. Is it because I mentioned the website outright? If so why haven't other dealer exclusive announcements been deleted and locked?
Examples...
the Knifeworks M4 Military, even mentioning $

Orange Manix Sprint from Cutlery shoppe, which is mentioned in the second post,

I see these DEALER EXCLUSIVES mentioned frequently as a heads up often, sometimes the dealer is mentioned slyly like KW, CS, the Shoppe, Roger's site, Jeff's site, etc, sometimes said outright like the examples above. Just looking for some clarification.

Paying dealers are allowed to advertise. Non paying dealers are not. People are not allowed to advertise for non-paying dealers. Previously there were dealers who egregiously tried to get around the Dealer Membership policy by using third parties to advertise their wares. This is why we have a no-deal spotting policy now.

You can look in the dealer for sale section and catch who most of them are.
