Dealer Private Messages?

Previously, as a platinum member, I had 200 private messages but now that the platinum has expired and my dealer membership remains, I only have 100 private messages. Is that by design? 200 messages was nice to have.

I concur, I frequently have to delete extra PM's to make room for incoming sales and/or questions. I have to make sure to keep the count around or under 75 before leaving for the weekend otherwise it's near full and at 90% or higher.

Some PM's I keep until a sale is finalized and the order is complete (delivered and happy customers). So that makes the 100 go by quick.

Just a suggestion fellows as a short stop, click the option in your user CP to send you an email when you get a PM, store them in your email folders, the emails contain the entire contents of the PM. Then delete all your PM's stored on BF servers, I use this method even though just Platinum and don't have over 4 to 10 stored on BF at any one time.

That's a damn good idea :thumbup:

I already have PM's sent to email me when they come in. So now I'll just make a seperate folder for them to keep 'em on file

This option works provided that BF can always send me email. I have had an unexplained situation recently where my email bounced and Spark shut everything off. I let the PMs grow to a certain point and then export them.

I think that the 200 messages offered to Platinum members should be extended to dealers. Since the dealer cost is so much higher, maybe it should be 500.

Dealers now have 300 messages. After that though, you need to prune or download.
