I can say that without a doubt the FK is one of the coolest non-khuk knives to come out of HI's shop in awhile. It swings with a deliberate THUNK, but it remains lively in the hand. It's incredible!

While I adore the khukuri, I tend to gravitate toward the eastern knives given a western flair that HI puts out. I FK knocks this concept out of the park. I've used it to limb trees at my stepfather's cabin, chop down old dead landscaping around the office, and even finely chop chives in the kitchen. It's a ridiculously large do-it-all blade:thumbup:

I don't leave home without it. It rides permanently in the pouch behind th passenger side seat of my truck. Too handy to NOT have it;)

sucks sorry to hear about the break in. Good choice on the farm knife I think I may have to try & snag 1 of those. still a little confused on what I want to get next, smh lol

I know HI's quality and with Gunz' recommendation, I'll give it a whirl.

From what i've read some far this knife is nimble enough to slice up onions as well as decapitating zombies.

I really love the look of the FK with the pronounced finger groove. Most of the recent FKs have seemed to have smoothed the groove down.
