Update: I got it. Tirtha has been turning out great knifes for a long time; but lately he's really been at the top of his game. The Tirtha Bowie last week was awesome; but I had to let it go as my bank account can only take so much.

I missed out on 2 Kobra's back to back but my H.i.k.v. kicked in so
I ordered a 21" gelbu special by Sher the Young Tiger & a 24" & change Sirupati
By Murali Kami, Oooh i'm excited. If funds permit I may order a Farm Knife as well :D

Yesterdays Kobra had a much pointier profile and I imagine some preferred it; but this one appealed more to me.

I think you will discover the Farm Knife is a very worthwhile addition to any knife collection; as useful in the kitchen as it would be in the wild.

I haven't ordered a Farm Knife yet but I would definitely be using it in the kitchen when I do order 1, because you know i'm going to order 1 ;)
I'll be using the Bilton I just snagged in the Kitchen too that's why I got it.

Nice Job on the Kobra by the way. I'm a truck driver & was parked on 35th st In NYC when I noticed today's dotd had been posted. I was on my Blackberry Bold 9780 when I sent the email, then I noticed you had already posted "email sent on the Kobra" I was 13 minutes behind you with my email :(. Oh well I'm getting a Gelbu Special & Sirupati, So i'm good to go :D
 
Man, someone really needs to snag that Vojpuri. That's a really interesting belt knife. Looks like something that could make short work of a light camp site, and short work of any critter that stumbled into said camp site;)
 
The vojpuris I've seen haven't done much for me. I suppose if Bura or one of my favorite Kamis were to make one I would be tempted.
