This is my first post since joining your forum and I just bought that unique Daphne Ang Khola. I believe the Daphne (Pheasant) is Nepal's National bird. I will most likely use this big knife on long hikes in Alaska mainly to cut wood for the campfire. The bird handle seems less threatening to non-big knife people and it is a nice change from the norm.

I'm surprised that the Garud by Sher(the Tiger) is still available, especially at that price. He makes a fine blade and has been rare to see anything by him since he left.
