Everyone NEEDS a Cherokee Rose. I mean, where else can you not only get a fine piece of combat ready steel that would make Jim Bowie grin from ear to ear, but was also designed by our very own NDN friend Yvsa:D?

Very nice & I vouch for Bhaktta's works personally. Unfortunately I can not attempt to shark any of these items as I have a few I will be getting next wk. They are both tempting. Somebody will enjoy them

My 34th and 35th; a Kobra and Tirtha's Bowie should arrive tomorrow. Tirtha's rendering of his knife should have ol' Jim smiling.

Bhakta Kami's Cherokee Rose is one of the nicest examples I have seen, it a great chance to own a unique knife designed by a person who really knew what they were doing. :D

Email on the Cherokee Rose.

ETA: And she is mine!!! Now gotta get a levergun and a pair of matching six shooters to go with her...

at the HI website i have looked through it many tines - i have a simple question that is vexing me please someone tell me - at the website they have Ang Khola

here i keep hearing CAK - or chiruwa Ang Khola -- what is the difference between the two ?

thank you

The CAK is warranted for use as a pry bar. That alone should tell you something! (It is the ONLY one warranted as such)

My CAK is perfect. 17.5 inch 34 ounce Chiruwa Ang Khola by Tirtha.

It will bury itself into a log better than a small hand-axe, and almost as good as a small axe. It's not overly heavy either, and I could use it for a long time comfortably.

I have a small Gransfor forest axe, and the CAK will almost cut as deeply. Obviously the Gransfor axe takes less energy per cut, but the fact that the CAK will cut as deep is amazing.

the Ang Khola on the website is advertised / described as "the unbreakable knife" - that's pretty close to pry-bar i would think

i had noticed the tang in some of the pics but not in others - but didn't realize there were two models - thanks guys!

Yup, get yourself one of the Winchester lever guns and a couple of the copied Colt's in .45 Colt... Not the Colt .45 but the .45 Long Colt...
That way one cartridge will feed 'em all...

Nice start to the New Year, Mr Rat. Good to see you back! ;)

May have to start building up my HI collection if you are back into the fray. :D

Hope you get the .45 Long Colt and a 12 bore with exposed hammers too.

Thanks Bruce. Rifle+sixguns+coach gun will have to wait a bit. I've been warned that if I buy another gun anytime soon I'll be shot with it, then gelded with the new Cherokee Rose.
