I sure do enjoy Auntie's photo back drops. Very pretty little stream. Suns out.

Don't get much better than that.

Someone PLEASE buy that dui chirra before I spend money I don't have on something else I don't NEED...:p

Very nice offerings today, congrats to those who got the DDs, very nice indeed.

I love it when keshar lal branches out of villagers , collectors get em while they are hot, anything by keshar is an understated masterpiece, the old man has talent!

I must admit that the Bone Cutter looks tempting. It will make someone happy.

Just got the done deal for the DUI chirra! I'm a sucker for the multicolored horn handles ever since the grey horn Malla last month. I also love the Purna DUI chirras. They're like a hybrid ang khola with a curved spine and a curved ASTK handle.

Sure do like all the antler lately. Looks great on that fish knife! Another beauty Purna Dui Chirra:thumbup: as well.

This Keshar Lal Bone cutter borders upon the sublime. Compact, refined, powerful, and beautiful. Hope I'm not too late.

Very nice knives... I do ask this question, how many folks tote a khukri through the woods regularly? Also, is it worth the weight opposed to other tools such as a belt axe?

Well, it's winter with a lot of snow and cold as heck...so I haven't been out in awhile, but I carry one whenever I go into the woods. Definitely worth any extra weight. A belt axe isn't also a knife/draw knife. A khukuri will at least hold its own against a belt axe if not out chop it.

I carry my Khukuris wherever I go, the lighter gopte knives for in town carry whereas I take my 32 oz duo chirra or 38 oz m43 in the woods. Toated mine in the woods for a few miles even on snow shoes without much issue till I hit my hunting camp (ok camp is an overestimate). For weighing a little less than a boys axe and serving more rolls with similar chopping results they're my go to pack knives. I save axes for tons of splitting or large trees to fell. I actually felled a 10" m43 just yesterday with no issues.
