Incoming on 10 1/4 inch 8 ounce villager Kumar karda by Sher. Sisau wood handle. Yours for $40 YBB & 7 7/8 inch 3 ounce plain blade Rusty SD Knife by Yuvraj kami. Lovely wee knives ...

Damn, I love these new KK's with the smooth handle. I just don't see how I could justify another one. I know, sell one of the old ones!

Notice that the Sgian Dubh has a scabbard rather than the sheath for the first time. Interesting.

Hey Norm, all the unmarked SDs have had the scabbard instead of the sheath. I think there have been 5 or 6 of them now, perhaps a few more.

I did notice the SDs the last few days have been smaller than the original ones. I picked up the chandan one the other day and it is much smaller than the two others I have (all unmarked).

Eric.

I seem to be late to all of the DOTD lately. Would of had to of grabbed that SD. I had my eye on the pen as well, but looks like I was beat to that as well. Good snags for all those involved.

At 90 bucks it may seem steeper than we are used to, but that's the culprit: "used to" All the prices in the world went up except for Yangdu's.
24 ounces is the outside top for a BAS. (I'm sure there are one or two heavier) At 24 you really get something. It'll chop. And very compact and carryable. Yangdu said it was perfect camp knife and she's right. The chiruwa handle gives it the extra- cro-bar in the rain under a truck in an emergency.

It's the last one left, and If I'd had the money, it would have been the first gone.

My BAS is 24 ounces, and I sure like it better than the slightly lighter one I first owned.

it might have been mine, with intent to sell a few like pieces. except that it doesn't have silver standard bolsters. it's only 4 ounces heavier than the villager standard model i have as well - which is flawless. plus, i would have loved to swap horn for wood. this has horn. darn :)

still, for someone that wants a BAS, this is a charmer.

as for rare, check out the giant BAS :)

Yeah, a giant BAS for genetically altered British soldiers who stand 8 feet tall.
