I prefer wood too but for that size knife the horn I don't think is all that bad. It's sure looks nice and with the carving it might hold up better than wood with similar carving.

I lit up when I saw Mini AK but chilled for the same reason, wood and I'm gonna hold for another 10" and of course the micro maybe someday.
 
I think everyone would've been going for the KK in wood, 'cause I'm looking too...just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
 
And where was I when this came up? Out in the yard chopping with one of your daddy's KLVUKs! Nice job Anil! Sarkis nailed it on that one too! Love the brown sheath! Nice Kumar Karda too! Mine doesnt have the carvings but that one is cool. Im with ya Bawanna I think horn is awesome on that knife! Do it Verpra! I already have a horn KK or Id snag that one in a sec.

Im completely fine with everybody hatin on horn. Keep passing them up so I can move in for the shark at my leisure.

Got kicked in the gut again last night, Beagle had to go to doggie hospital, kids took her. Kept her for a few days, out 2500 up front and could go high as 4000. Mom said ok, I just went back to Survivor and tried not to speak.

Penniless indeed.
 
I personally LOVE the horn. True, its not as strong as wood for an "end of the world" knife, but it has a nice somber classiness all its own that appeals to me.

I've [most likely in vain] sent an email on the KK.
