Oh Dobe_1, I love you so much man. I been hankering for a HI Kerambit for ages and without thought to money or beating by my wife I was ready to go on that.
You saved my life quite literally. I thank you. I hope you love it and enjoy it.

I really hate you but still love you too, not in any mano mano way.

I see the famous endless knot on the T shirt, very cool, was wondering if it was a regional thing, didn't think it was, now I know.

The katunje is an incredibly nice knife, very handy and will easily take on more than anyone would need. Tough and stylish.

Ughhhh, yea. The love is back at you, but the knife is coming home with me. :)

Man I hope there are more Keramits. I have been waiting a long time for one. I hope I see another one soon. I will trade ya ;)

I'd be quite interested how it performs, as a hybrid of kukri and kerambit.

I don't have any enemies to disembowel, so I can't do a performance test.

However, I can tell you that the HI kerambits are two or three times as thick and robust as most non-HI kerambits. This one is even heavier: listed as 9" and 18 oz, while previous HI kerambits of the same length were around 12 oz. You can get an idea of the spine thickness from the third photo. Mine is about 1/4" but this one might be more. That's a lot for such a short blade, and it has plenty of width as well. The handles are thick as well, giving an excellent grip.

It's a miniature beast, suitable for a wide variety of utility tasks and a fearsome instrument of self-defense at close quarters.

Dobe Dog! Great snag! Who wouldda thunk it? A Kerambit:eek: I wouldda been in double doghouse cause id have snagged it myself. Thank you sir and grats. Pics a must when you get it!

Thank gosh Dobe got that Kerambit because my bank account can't take the hit at the moment. I'd have sacrificed groceries for that puppy! Great snag.

EMS for ManaKamana spezial.

I use my HI Kerambit like a small axe. It can baton through anything my largest Khukuri can go thru. With some wood wedges to make up for the finish that the short blade could not. It's a fantastic small axe. I had to smooth out the ring for use as a middle finger hold for a better leverage chopping.
Old pics are in here somewhere of my HI Kerambits deeds.
