Eamil to get any or all.

That might be the prettiest YCS I've ever seen. You guys better hurry. If it's not gone by 3:15, I'm selling a kidney and ordering it!

Steve

Dang...I want a Seax soooo much, but I just can't bring myself to send the email....doesn't seem like it's "the one," ya know?

A carved YCS? <Whistles>

As always, I'm impressed.

3 variations of my most used knives. Swap out that Jange for a GRS of similar size and you have Steely's do-all gang. I'm thinkin really hard about that Jange. My mom's new place has a lot of wood to cut up. Smells like an excuse for a new khuk if I ever heard one.

Wow!!!! I am really impressed with all of these. Especially now that I can reach into my desk and grip my own HI CAK khuk. It is getting very hard not to send the e-mails and spend the money.

That Jange looks nice. Satori used his a bit this weekend. Worked great. Lightweight, but hit with authority. Produced bountiful chips. Really a great rig. Had no issues with the half tang.

That YCS is beautiful. The carved handle looks great.

that YCS is awesome! Congrats to the buyer! Please tell us how it feels!

That dadburned seax is tormenting me. I still remember when Dan, Ferrous, and some of the rest of y'all were first kicking around the idea of having the durn things made. Somebody buy it, if it's still around tonight when I get home it won't be around tomorrow, if you know what I mean. ;)

And that Jange appears to be full tang, not partial. What a good blade. It should be easy to swing and at 30 ounces cut well.

Good eye Munk. I missed that. A couple of firsts here as far as I know (as always I am capable of error. ;) ) Only the second or third horn Junge (it was Dave Hahn I think who had one I really liked, along with one he had in Osage Orange, but it was a partial tang and the plain horn butt really appealed to me), and the first horn with a full tang. And the first carved handled YCS to boot.

Can't justify yet another YCS though, even if it hadn't sold in a heartbeat (but if it had stayed up much longer I would have probably found a way to do so!).

I am fortunate enough that after missing the first 8 or 10 Junge's I scored a gorgeous one with some type of beautifully grained USA wood. For knives in the 20" and 2 lb. range Junge's can't be beat.

Yeah, it is a full tang. Satori's is a half tang with a nice wood handle. I don't think it's nearly that heavy though. Maybe in the 25-27oz range, not sure though. Still worked great though. The fullers are pretty cool. Long and thin, close together.

mike

There are. Looks like two of them. Small thin ones that extend down the blade right along the spine. They're not the "typical" fullers that we're used to seeing. A little more unique, and quite possibly model speciffic.

mike

That's about the best looking Jange I've seen. The full tang makes it that much more of a sweeter package. I've already got two Chitlangis that are in the same length and weight range as this one, otherwise I'd send an email for it.

Mike, what you're seeing isn't fullers.;) It's an extended Sword of Shiva. The Sword of Shiva usually ends about the area of the bend.
You can also see the Sword of Shiva on the YCS and the AK Bowie.:)
