I wonder if the price difference on the GCB is due to the weight? Looks like it's a "light" one, :p all the other GCBs I've seen have been either 59 oz. or 62 oz.

hard to say really, I guess I never thought they might be priced by the pound. :D

It really is y birthday BTW, 48 years young.

Both GCB were made by Dil, today's is marked "YBB" and the previous one was not. (Does this stand for Yangdu's Blem Box"?)

Yangdu's Best Buy actually... just means this is the cherry of today's deals.

the one I bought was a Villager too.... supposedly less value? than those more finished like this one.

No worries, I am happy, it will be here in a couple days. :D

and I will be getting something from my Auntie anyway so as I say, I am merely trying to get a handle on things here not griping at all.

From what I've seen, on the rare ones, being a villager doesn't have much/any price difference. But sometimes, white metal fittings cost a little bit more, since I think the materials are more expensive.

In any case, I know you're going to love yours. Actually, looks like it'll be the near-twin of mine. 59 ounces, white metal fittings, villager finish. Only difference is mine was made by Vim.

Here, have a new Giant and Serbu photo. I added a single point sling! Maybe that will make people stop asking about the scope. :p

And yes, I know, my carpet is hideous.

I was lucky to snag Giant and AK bowie here! I've been waiting 8 months for one to show up on DOTD. Nice photo of Serbu there Ryan. Wish I could carry one while treckking the backwoods.
