That's a pretty darn nice Hanuman, all are nice as usual. I don't have a Hanuman. Anyone think I need a Hanuman. I think I need a Hanuman.

Ray was wicked quick today, much congrats on the Cherokee Rose. I still recall holding one at Aunties and to say it was impressive would be a huge understatement. Super nice.

I'll be 10/10 on the side pondering my piggy bank balance. A Hanuman would look pretty nice on me I think.

I overshot my budget big time this month. That HAK looks great! Go for it if you have the coins, I say :)

Think I'm gonna hold for another Bowie. But I see a Hanuman in my future.

I would love to get a Bowie some day - I've got to agree on that one.

That Cherokee Rose must be massive!! I just read the size and it registered ... wow.

I notice this thread.. 12 hours late.

That Cherokee Rose is beautiful and is making me morose, knowing that it isn't being shipped to my house. Haha.

The Rose really is a sweet big ol' fighting knife. Formidable yet graceful. Capable of dancing through the air to parry and back cut before snapping down with a blow hard enough to literally disarm your opponent:D

Really, the only downside to them is that their size makes them impractical to carry, but a man educated and armed with a honed Cherokee Rose would not be one whose path I would wish to cross.

I'd love to see a scaled down 15" version one day.

I am very interested to see how it compares to my 20" Kobra.

Mine is way more balanced than my 20.5" 20.5oz Kobra. Between the longer handle and the big steel guard, the Rose is way more nimble and neutral in hand.
You give up some blade length, but it's a deadly big knife.

That said, mine is an older Bura-made model circa 2005 that is closer to Yvsa's original design. I have no idea what kind of characteristics this Tirtha version is going to have. Don't get me wrong. Tirtha can make a hellova blade:D I just don't know where he "put the steel" so to speak in relation to how Bura did it almost a decade ago.
