well, that's a fine fine looking BDC - looks just like mine. great chopper those. some one snag that fast.

the fullers on that knife are fantastic. man. look at them GLEAM. it's got some length too. nice black handle - still would like to see these in black wood sometime :) oh yeah. coffin shaped handles. sweet.

and still, love those kerambits. seems like we have a whole lot of those lately, which is a welcome change. change can be good :}

and my yes, bring on the villagers. those are the unsung user heroes.

D-1 is definitely at the top of my list, along w/ the Foxy, YCS, BDC (yes, I am a sucker for a nice fuller or two) and R6. Three in one day, and no way to pay! :(

saved me westfork... had decided to get it if it was still available...

one day there will be one that lines up with the day I get a paycheck and bam I'll have one...

hopefully one with the nice dark wood like that one.

Beautiful knives. It is interesting to compare Buras' big BDC today with the one from Vim on 10/24 and note the slight handle differences and the blade shape. Buras just flows from top to bottom, while Vims has a pointier tip and a more contoured handle. Buras is more of a modified FF blade IMO.

They are both great knives. I snagged the 10/24 one and could not be happier with the quality and workmanship.

Actually my wife saved you. I emailed on the Sarge R-6 but then my wife told me that she really liked that kerambit. Heck, they looked too good together to be separated.

I like the D-1, but it just doesn't appeal to me enough to buy it. Blasphemy I know...
